Communication
Email list for group-wide communication
SIMBER uses a Google Group email list for communicating with all members across the three institutions. If you are part of the Google Group, you can message all members of the group by directly emailing <simber@simula.no>.
To join the email list, please send an email to Nick Forsch <nick@simula.no> with the subject line “Request to join SIMBER email list”. You will receive a confirmation email once you have been added to the group.
Slack Workspace
SIMBER uses a Slack Workspace for more controllable communication with individual collaborators via direct messaging or with a collection of members in various Slack “channels”. Slack also provides integration with third party services, such as Google Calendar or Zoom, that can help you automate your workflow.
Apart from the default channels, members are welcome to create public or private channels, which can be useful for specific projects. Use the “+” next to “Channels” to browse and join existing public channels.
To join the SIMBER Slack Workspace, please send an email to Nick Forsch <nick@simula.no> with the subject line “Request to join SIMBER Slack workspace”. You will receive an invitation to join the workspace via email.
